Adwalkers were deployed in Hong Kong to reward Guinness drinkers in the run-up to the Rugby tournament.
The Adwalker street teams swooped into Hong Kong’s busy nightlife area, targeting thirty bars in two nights. The objective of the pre-launch is to link Guinness as the official beer of the tournament, promote the brand by sampling and increase sales.
Adwalker street teams gained momentum by interacting with customers in bars, engaging them to play a Guinness Rugby game on Adwalker screens. Customers who scored the highest were rewarded with Guinness prizes.
The Adwalker campaign will run for four weeks until the Hong-Kong 7’s kick-off on March 28th. It is a great opportunity to heighten awareness of the Guinness brand and the tournament.
