Adwalker Pre-launch Hong Kong 7’s Campaign
Adwalkers were deployed in Hong Kong to reward Guinness drinkers in the run-up to the Rugby tournament.
The Adwalker street teams swooped into Hong Kong’s busy nightlife area, targeting thirty bars in two nights. The objective of the pre-launch is to link Guinness as the official beer of the tournament, promote the brand by sampling and increase sales.
Adwalker street teams gained momentum by interacting with customers in bars, engaging them to play a Guinness Rugby game on Adwalker screens. Customers who scored the highest were rewarded with Guinness prizes.
The Adwalker campaign will run for four weeks until the Hong-Kong 7’s kick-off on March 28th. It is a great opportunity to heighten awareness of the Guinness brand and the tournament. Click HERE to download the Campaign Summary (PDF)

The New Gold Rush: Wearable Computing And Its Apps
Forward-looking insight informing today's technology choices by Tom Yager
"When I was a staffer at Mobile Computing & Communications Magazine, way back in the mid-90's, the notion of 'wearable computing' conjured far-off sci-fi images." Now, the current incarnation of mobile devices, PDAs and ultraportables is enough for Tom Yager to declare that, "futurists' dreams of the wearable computer are realized. As foreseen, that technology has changed culture and, arguably, humanity."
So Yager rubs his crystal ball, gazes inside. "One day our wearable computers will work with us and for us in ways that divisions among platforms and sweetheart exclusive deals with wireless operators make difficult to imagine."
